Corrie offers 1:1 sessions for school-age children
Structured Literacy Reading Treatment: Building on each child's individual strengths, Orton-Gillingham is a structured literacy approach that targets the language skills required for reading and writing. These skills include phonological awareness, decoding, spelling, reading fluency, morphology, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Speech & Language Therapy: Based on individual needs, speech and language therapy can target the underlying skills to reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Speech-language therapy can strengthen oral and written language skills, including comprehension, grammar, word finding, vocabulary, and articulation.
Diagnostic Evaluation: A formal diagnostic evaluation can determine the presence of a speech-language disorder or written language disorder such as dyslexia.
