The Seacoast, NH’s only State Licensed Childcare facility that offers flexible, as needed, drop off childcare

Save money on childcare and only pay for hours you need. For much less than the cost of a nanny or occasional babysitter, parents can use drop-off childcare at Relief Parenting! This childcare option is ideal for parents who cannot find reliable, professional, childcare and/or do not need a full-time daycare or preschool program.

1 to 4 hour sessions are available with occasional and/or consistent weekly schedule options. Registration and authorization forms are required.

During Drop-off Care at Relief Parenting, your child will have opportunities for socialization, imaginative play, arts and crafts activities, movement, and more! Depending on the length of your booked session, the snacks/lunch you’ve packed for your child will also be offered.

The Childcare Staff at Relief Parenting are passionate about providing engaged, age-appropriate, developmental play for your child(ren)! Each member of our Childcare Staff has a formal background in early childhood education as well as the lived experience of being a parent.

With two different childcare areas, the Childcare Staff are able to separate non-walking little ones from the older, walking, friends. Should the number of attending children be minimal, or siblings prefer remaining together, groups may be combined for safe socialization and multi-age play.

Space is limited. Advance registration is strongly encouraged to secure your preferred dates/times.

Childcare FAQs

  • Relief childcare is available during Relief Center Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 9am-1pm

  • Our professionally trained staff is capable of caring for newborns (6 weeks old) through school-age children (10 years old). We are equipped with all the necessities to ensure your child(ren) is safe, engaged, and enjoying their time while in care.

  • Yes! While we offer flexible / occasional childcare options, we are currently enrolling infants, toddlers, and preschoolers for regularly scheduled care. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

  • You are welcome to stay at Relief in the childcare room with your little one as you get acclimated to the environment.

    You can also step into our lobby for a cup of tea/coffee and socialization, or utilize our Respite Room, Work Room, classes, or support groups.

  • Childcare is a nut-free area at Relief.

    Snack is at 9:30 and lunch is at 11:30. If your child will be here during those times, please ensure they have a Nut Free snack packed. Please label your child’s food and notify the childcare attendant of any known food allergies/sensitivities. Please label all water bottles.

    If your child is bottle fed, pack prepared baby bottles (formula or breastmilk.) Items must be labeled with the child’s name.

    Diapers and wipes along with a change of clothes. Diaper bags must also be labeled with child’s name.

  • We always communicate with parents before they leave their child to confirm the level of comfort should your child become upset.

    Our childcare staff is trained to help soothe children who have challenges separating, need extra attention/engagement, or who are unfamiliar with childcare settings.

    We also have the necessary items for nap-time should your little one require some rest.

    In the event we feel your child is in need of a cuddle from you (or you feel you need a cuddle with them), we will ask you to visit the childcare room.

  • Cancellations for any class or session must be made at least 12-hours in advance or you will be charged for the full cost of the booking. Please email us with notification of your cancellation.
